We are proud to add Katy Bones, CNM, to our staff at the Birth Center. Katy is a native of Boulder Colorado and a graduate of Columbia University. It’s wonderful to have a young, enthusiastic midwife who can bounce back quickly from being up all night. Katy could have worked in any setting, but she wants to work with women having out of hospital births at home and in the Birth Center. We are very happy to have her with us !
In July, we hired Holly Shearman, CPM, to work with us. Holly is a native of San Antonio, and she”s a bundle of energy. She owned a Birth Center in San Antonio, and has great experience. She is the mom of 4 children (3 born at home). We are really enjoying her presence at the Birth Center.
It’s great to have plenty of help at the Birth Center so that we can respond quickly when our clients are in labor, and none of us get too worn out.
